Here's what we usually get asked
At the moment, Educatta focuses exclusively on ATAR Year 11 and Year 12 group classes. We’ve chosen to pause all other year-level and private tutoring so we can perfect this service first so that we continue refining our teaching methods, resources, and results for senior students before expanding again in the future.
This allows us to give our ATAR students the highest quality support and proven outcomes without spreading our attention across multiple programs.
Educatta runs small-group tutoring classes for Year 11 & 12 ATAR subjects
(Maths Methods, Maths Applications, English, Chemistry, Physics, Human Biology).
- Weekly 2-hour lessons each term, with holiday sessions and detailed workbooks.
- Small class sizes (around 10 students) for individual attention.
- Taught by expert tutors who focus on exam techniques and key syllabus content.
- Includes practice tests, personalised learning plans, and two consultation calls per term.
- Students also get after-class tutor support through an online chat.
- Classes run in-person at Educatta’s Bentley centre and are also available online.
These classes are designed to build confidence, sharpen exam skills, and maximise ATAR results in a supportive, motivating environment.
Educatta classes are structured, curriculum-aligned group programs, not casual tutoring. Each class follows the WACE syllabus, focuses on exam technique, and teaches students how to think, not just what to memorise.
Students benefit from:
- Clear step-by-step explanations
- Exam-style questions every lesson
- Active questioning and engagement
- Small group sizes for accountability and support
This creates stronger understanding, confidence, and consistency than most one-to-one or school-only support.
Classes are intentionally kept small so tutors can actively monitor every student’s understanding throughout the lesson. Unlike large or lecture-style classes, students at Educatta are never passive observers.
Educatta tutors are trained to:
- Question every student regularly, ensuring participation and accountability
- Identify misunderstandings in real time, before gaps compound or confidence drops
- Adjust explanations immediately, using alternative methods, visuals, or examples when students struggle
This approach ensures that:
- No student is left behind
- Learning gaps are addressed early
- Students remain focused, engaged, and confident
- Lessons adapt to the class, not the other way around
As a result, every student is actively involved in the learning process and supported at the level they need to succeed.
Educatta classes run in structured 10-week terms, designed to align closely with the school curriculum and allow students to build understanding progressively over time.
Students may attend a trial lesson before enrolling. This trial gives students and parents the opportunity to experience:
- The teaching style
- Class structure
- Tutor engagement
- The level of support provided
After the trial, families can decide whether to proceed with enrolment.
Payment options are simple and flexible, with:
- 5-week instalment payments, or
- Full 10-week term payment upfront
All payments are processed securely online via Stripe.
Once enrolled, a student’s place is reserved for the full 10-week term. This ensures:
- Consistent class sizes
- Stable learning groups
- A structured teaching sequence with no disruption
- Stronger academic progress through continuity
Educatta does not operate on casual or drop-in attendance. The term-based structure is intentional and designed to support steady improvement, confidence, and exam readiness.
Educatta tutors do not begin teaching classes immediately. Every tutor goes through professional training designed to develop the specific skills required to teach effectively in a classroom setting, not just one-on-one.
This training focuses on how students learn, not just what tutors know.
Educatta tutors are trained in:
- Breaking down complex concepts into clear, logical steps that reduce confusion
- Managing cognitive load, so students are not overwhelmed by too much information at once
- Active questioning techniques, ensuring every student is engaged and accountable
- Real-time error detection, allowing misunderstandings to be corrected immediately
- Adapting explanations based on student responses and levels of understanding
- Teaching exam technique, including structure, timing, and how marks are allocated
Tutors also learn how to:
- Maintain lesson structure and pacing
- Keep students focused and involved
- Balance support with high expectations
- Create a calm, disciplined learning environment
All training is aligned to Educatta teaching standards, ensuring consistency across every class, subject, and tutor. This means students receive the same quality of teaching regardless of who is in front of the class.
Educatta invests heavily in tutor training because great results come from great teaching, not just strong academic backgrounds.
Yes. Sometimes a class timing in one centre doesn't suit your schedule. You are free to do classes from multiple centres or online.
Educatta helps ATAR students understand content properly, apply it confidently, and perform under exam conditions.
Our classes are not about rushing through content or memorising answers. They are built around clear explanations, structured learning, and constant feedback so students actually know why something works, not just what to write.
At Educatta, students benefit from:
- Small, structured classes where no one is overlooked
- Highly trained tutors who teach exam technique, not just theory
- Active questioning and engagement every lesson
- Early identification of gaps, before they impact results
- Consistent support and accountability across the term
Most importantly, Educatta builds confidence, clarity, and control, the three things students need to perform well in ATAR exams.
Students don’t just work harder. They work smarter, with guidance, structure, and purpose.
Yes. Educatta’s ATAR Group Classes have a strong track record of results, with many students achieving significant subject score increases and ATAR improvements after joining. Our approach is to have expert teaching, small class sizes, structured practice exams, and personalised feedback which is designed to consistently lift marks and exam confidence.
While no tutoring service can ethically promise a specific ATAR or grade (as final results depend on each student’s effort, school assessments, and external exams), we guarantee a clear improvement plan:
- Progress Tracking: Regular tests and feedback show measurable growth each term.
- Individualised Support: Tutors identify weaknesses early and provide targeted strategies to close gaps.
- Proven Success Stories: Past students have moved from average marks to top-band results and gained entry into competitive university courses.
In short, Educatta guarantees dedicated support and a proven system that leads to consistent improvements that is backed by data, not empty promises.
Educatta offers both in-person and online options for maximum flexibility.
- In-Person: Classes run weekly at our Bentley and Canning Vale education centres in Perth, providing a focused, collaborative learning environment.
- Online: All lessons are also available live via an interactive online platform, so students can join from home if they prefer or need to miss a class.
Students can choose the format that suits them best, and can even switch between in-person and online if their schedule changes.
I’m one of the co-founders of Educatta, where we’ve built a system designed to help Year 11 and 12 students succeed in ATAR with clarity, confidence, and structure. Having gone through the ATAR journey myself, I understand how overwhelming it can be, which is why we focus on simplifying the process and giving students the exact guidance they need to perform at their best.
